Oppose and object. Another day in Australian politics.

Well, it's that time again. A snapshot of the federal political issues du jour in Australia.Who's thrown their toys out of the cot, had the bottom out of their showbag and want the one hand-one bounce rule introduced. Once again, we may as well look at the largest group of political prisoners, the Australian Labour Party.

Today's bleat is brought to you by Shadow Minister for Immigration, Tony Burke.

Tony Burke today welcomed the long awaited release of children from detention. Mr Burke said that while Labor clearly maintains deep-seated objection to the Howard Government's mismanagement of immigration, it is important to acknowledge when the Government takes a step in the right direction.

"Labor has long called for the release of children from detention and this call has also been made by the minor parties and a number of Liberal backbenchers. Everybody should be pleased that the Government will today meet the deadline it set and release all children from detention centres. Innocent children should never again grow up locked up. Everybody involved should be pleased that children will now be treated with a greater level of decency."

That must have really choked him up, praising the government for doing what it said it would do. Still, it's a far more rational line of thinking than the majority of the nanny-staters residing in capital cities around Australia. For example, one of the least relevant political parties in Australia, the Dimocrats.Democrats.

Democrats Leader, Senator Lyn Allison said;
"Its extremely worrying that 70% of students still say that they experience problems with bullying, given the serious consequences for young people. Although slightly more students said they were better informed about what to do, bullying is obviously not being tackled effectively. We urge the Federal Government to fund the implementation of the National Safe Schools Framework as a matter of urgency to guarantee take-up in every school. (The Federal Government has provided a mere $4.5m for the NSSF so far.) Australia also needs an independent, Federal childrens commissioner along the lines of the UK and New Zealand models, to drive change in child abuse, whether by their peers or adults. This poll also shows that students do not share the Minister for Educations obsession with getting more male teachers into schools. Almost half had more female than male teachers but only 17.4% wanted more male and 9.5% more female teachers."

That says more about the state of our education system at the state level than anything else. I can't thing of anything worse than being employed to beat pet humanities and socialist theories into the bogan mouth-breathers' illegitimate brats in public schooling. Can someone tell Lyn Allison that STATE governments run the schooling system. Please. For fuck's sake. Someone else who is just as bad at pointing the finger (amongst other skills involving pointy body parts) is Senator Bob Down, leader of the Australian Watermelons. (Green on outside, Red in middle and too much of it gives you the shits) Seriously, this moron needs to move into one of our vaunted fascist gulags.I'd put some more info here for those less familiar with his work, but these last two lines from a media release pretty much sum up his entire world view. The man is a fucking idiot.

Senator Brown praised today's action by Greenpeace in Newcastle.
"Greenpeace, not John Howard, speaks for Australia's future, and for a much more secure future for the planet," Senator Brown said.

Speechless. Must remember to send that Greenpeace Member of Parliament my details then. Silly me thinking that the elected leader of the elected majority party actually represented Australia. Speaking of unrepresentative swill, the new Senator from Family First represents a party with some decidely left-wing sympathetic views. From the FF 'Security' Policy.

"Family First sees the promotion of social, economic and political justice as integral to our global responsibilities and integral to removing the causes of the war on terror and will champion a substantial increase in the level of Australian overseas aid."

Is this code for 'root cause theory'? Cos if it is, I don't think they understand what it is they are championing. Social justice? Economic justice? Political justice? Or Family First? Sounds like socialism to me. Moving on to those who truly have no grasp of reality, Australia's soon to be defunct Communist crap paper, Green Left Weekly. Incidentally, this whole "capitalism" concept appears to be too much for Che Central to handle. Without an injection of 'capital', this trash mag is on it's way to landfill. Finally, they are doing something GOOD for the environment after all. This weeks editorial outlines a diatribe against John Howard. Details are sketchy, but it appears they are not happy that Howard didn't admit that Iraq is making us a larger terrorist target, and they now have research to back this up, and it's not fair, and Howard lied, and Muslims killed in Indonesia and blah blah blah. No wonder no one is buying this tripe. If their is a coherent point here, I can't find it.

'After noting that those claiming responsibility for the July 7 suicide bombings said they were retribution for Britain's participation in the US-led invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq, Howard argued that “all the evidence, as distinct from the suppositions, suggest to me that this is about hatred of a way of life ... and I think we lose sight of the challenge we have if we allow ourselves to see these attacks in the context of particular circumstances, rather than the abuse through a perverted ideology of people and their murder.”

Ironically, Howard's argument had been refuted only a few hours earlier by Chicago University professor Richard Pape in an interview aired on ABC TV's 7.30 Report. Pape has conducted a study of 462 suicide terrorists from around the world since 1980. Based on this study, he rejects the view that suicide terrorism is mainly driven by an “evil ideology” of hatred for the “Western way of life”.'

My brain hurts trying to decipher this gibberish; just maybe perhaps because I is just a ill-educated redbeck. Or perhaps it's because they are barking mad. More barking mad infotainment is possible in this week's Communist Party of Australia bin liner editorial. Unsurprisingly, more rubbish about 'root causes'. I fucking hate commies!

"There is no talk by most of these political leaders of removing the obvious causes of terrorism, even to the point of denying that the Iraq war has anything to do with the upsurge in violence that has taken place since the invasion and occupation of Iraq. There is a decidedly anti-Islamic and racist coverage of events that is not blunted even where it reports these same dishonest political leaders attempting to enlist "moderate" Islamic clerics in their "war on terrorism".

Let us say it again for the record that the Communist Party of Australia and The Guardian condemn without reservation or exception acts of violence which are solely directed against civilians and kill those who are innocent bystanders."

By exception, they condone the killing of those they decree as 'guilty' and against military or government targets. Did I mention that I fucking hate communists? Final paragraph from the apologistas.

"Terrorist ideas and actions can only be overcome when the causes that give rise to them have been removed. These causes are the massive social and economic injustices that have become even more prevalent in the world in recent times. Today, the first step that has to be taken towards a more secure, peaceful international community is the ending the monstrous Iraq war and the huge suffering and death it is bringing to the Iraqi people. No matter how many times that John Howard attempts to deny this connection, it will remain until the war and occupation ended."

Leave Iraq. End terrorism. Once again, I'm speechless. Well, that wraps this weeks democratic debacle that is Australian federal politics. Stay tuned for more polemic, punditry and pusillanimous posting.

Fisking Stew Webb

Pure moonbatic (is that even a word?) gold on Sydney Indymedia:
"MI-6 Agents Caught Trying to Blow Up Chicargo Subway"
That's the headline. Yes, they can't spell Chicago. It's followed by this:
The British Agents, part of Bush & Blair's Al Quaida network operated out of Laidlaw Corp in Chicago.
Their spelling of "Quaida" leaves a little to be desired as well, but considering their completely baseless claim that Bush and Blair run Al-Qaeda, we'll ignore the first mistake.
French Intelligence and The U.S. Marshall Service Monday night July 18, 2005 caught eight of Tony Blair's British MI-6 Agents trying to bomb the Chicago Subway system. A shoot out killed 4 British Agents. Four were captured in the act of Terrorism and arrested. The British Agents part of Bush & Blair's Al Quaida network were charged in Federal Court today with explosives. The British MI-6 Terrorist Cell Operated out of Laidlaw Corp in Chicago.
Incorrect capitalisation of A in Agents (twice), T in Terrorism, T in Terrorist, C in Cell and O in Operated. Missing a variety of commas. Horrid sentence structure. The list of grammatical errors goes on and on. The first sentence should read something like "Eight of Tony Blair's British MI-6 agents were caught trying to bomb the Chicago Subway by French Intelligence and the U.S. Marshall Service on Monday night." The second and third sentences should be merged into one, and... that's enough for the grammar in this paragraph.

How come the French Intelligence helped solve a crime involving British people on American soil? Oh that's right, because the CIA and MI6 are complicit in the attack. My apologies. Then how come they were charged in Federal Court today with "explosives"? Possession of explosives? Attempted use of explosives? I'm really not sure. Next: Which federal court were they "charged in"? And aren't suspected criminals charged at the police station and sent to court to face those charges? The press release was dated July 19, 2005. I bet if we checked that days records for all federal courts in the United States, nothing would come up. Nothing with any credibility whatsoever comes from Google. Next: Wouldn't four men being shot in a subway, and four arrested, in the wake of London, make the news? This has gone beyond ridiculous.
Chicago US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald served Tony Blair a subpoena in the CIA Valerie Plame case on July 13, 2005 to answer questions regarding his role in the leaks connected to George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Condi Rice, Andrew Card, Scooter Libby and Karl Rove.
He has? I cannot find any corroborating evidence from a vaguely reliable news source.
Tony Blair has not yet responded to his subpoena.
That's because he didn't get one.
George W. Bush has not responded to his subpoena either.
And that's because he didn't get one either.
Tony Blair had supplied George W. Bush with falsified British Intelligence stating that Iraq leader Saddum Hussein had obtained "Yellow Cake" Nuclear materials from Niger.
Saddum?
This was the reason Bush gave to start the war in Iraq. This has all now been proven to be lies by Bush and Blair. CIA Valerie Plame's husband Ambassador Joseph Wilson submitted his report prior to the Bush-Blair lies that Niger never sold yellow cake to Iraq. Wilson came forth stating Bush lied in his State of the Union address to the nation.
I thought this was meant to be all about terrorism in "Chicargo"?
Valerie Plame's CIA Network was further investigating Bush & Cheney's orchestrated attack on America on 9-11-2001. New York Police Bernard Kerik who ran a FEMA operation out of pier 29 known as Code Angel also known as Tripod II planted the bombs on the 7 World Trade Center Building that were demolished on 9-11-2001.
No evidence, just ranting. At least pretend to have a source next time.
This operation was a US Justice Department operation involving Gary Best of Defense Intelligence Agency a George H. W. Bush Shadow Government Crony who is currently in Prison in the French Guinea for espionage against the French Government.
Outside of articles written by this guy, there's no proof that Gary Best even exists. And there's no evidence at all to suggest he's in a French Guinea prison for espionage. This just keeps getting dumber.
Best has admitted to French Authorities of his 9-11 involvements. As I am writing this press release two more British MI-6 agents were arrested a few minutes ago details are forthcoming.
Of course he has. And that's why you found this out, and nobody else has even come close to any information about Best's mere existence, let alone his role in espionage against France, 9/11, etc etc.
Also today British Stooge MI-6 Agent Linda Fanton Pike of Iowa tied to Hillary Rodenhurst Clinton, today made death threats against a Investigative Journalist on behalf of Department of Defense agency operatives under Criminal Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. The Journalist was told to stay away from Tom Heneghan & Stew Webb.
Isn't her name Hillary Rodham Clinton? Who cares about spelling names correctly anyway, right? For the record, this article is the first Google has ever heard of "Linda Fanton Pike". Where does he pull these names from, and why isn't there a drop of evidence to support the arguments?
Federal Whistleblower Mary Schneider www.maryschneider.us gets bogus mocking email from a 9-11 connected P-Tech software company, (Mitre) that was used to over ride the Pentagon computers on 9-11-2001.
Once again, no evidence whatsoever for any of these claims.
Federal Whistleblower Tom Heneghan's tires were stolen off his car today in broad daylight, by Bush Goons.
Yep, I believe that too.
Bush & Blair obviously are trying to cause a Terrorist attack in America to derail the Federal Grand Jury Investigations of their roles of the Plame leaks which is violations of National Security Laws and their War Crimes against Sovereign Nation Iraq with intentional falsified reports.
Yet French Intelligence and US Marshalls stopped their eeeeeevil plan?
Their further Treason Attacks on America involve Rouge CIA, DIA, British MI-6, Russian and Mossad agents who were also involved in the 9-11-2001 World Trade Center Attack and Pentagon attacks.
All together now: It's the Jooooooooooos.
More to come, stay tuned.

Tom Heneghan & Stew Webb
Who are these guys? Well, Stew appears to be still recovering from serious delusions of persecution, that appear to begin with what he calls his...
ex-wife's (Kerre Sue Millman) attempted murder of our daughter August 10th 1984. And the cover-up and pay off of the Judicial system, and the power of my ex-in laws, Leonard & Elaine Millman, a know [sic] Satanist / Knights Templar Banker, the "Illicit Shadow Government Banker", George Bush/ Bill & Hillary Clinton's Illegal "C. I. A. Banker & narcotics money launderer", that owned Silverado Savings & loan of Denver where George Bush’s son "Neil Bush" (The S & L Poster Boy) was Board of Directors.

All part of "The Denver Connection" referenced in my "Bush Crime Family Flow Chart". After illegally keeping my daughter from me, and I from her, a daughter/father, relationship for 20 years, 13 attempts upon my life, thirty some odd false arrests and false imprisonment. I will stop at nothing to see these people exposed and jailed for their crimes against humanity.
Of course, there is no evidence of any of this, outside of things Stew has posted himself. He claims to have been a 2004 Vice-Presidential candidate. Was he? I can't find any proof of that.

This is the sort of stuff Indy Media needs to take off their front page, for everyone's sake.

Over There

If you, like me, were impressed by tonight's premier of FX's Over There, there's one thing we should both remember. Forty Americans died and 426 were wounded, most of them seriously, in the real life "over there" this month. Actors get paid big bucks and go on talk shows when their work day is through. While those who have volunteered to protect you and me in Iraq and Afghanistan don't get that kind of fame or money, but their sacrifices are real.

i hope the show stays centered on the American experience. i was happy to see that they did not try, at least in tonight's episode, to put a human face on the enemy or tell "their side." Let Ted Koppel and his buddies at Al Jazeera do that; there's enough relativism in the media as it is. i also did not detect any overt political messages, either right or left.

i imagine some observers might be upset that not every character was Tom Hanks. i don't mind that kind of realism in war movies. As a war movie fan, i like the Adam Baldwins and Nick Noltes the best. These are the complex characters who may seem like assholes with less than honorable motivations, but they get shit done. i bet there are lots of them in real life and thank God for it.

i'm also not bothered by Over There's portrayal of soldiers complaining about the Army. i'm not a veteran -- and i know that many of my visitors are, so correct me if i'm wrong -- but soldiers always gripe about the military. And there's always some incompetence and poor decision-making in any organization. Hell, does everything run smoothly at your job? It doesn't at my job, that's for sure. People who point to mistakes made in wartime as a reason to surrender are simply people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

So overall, i thought tonight's episode was pretty good, and i would say that if the rest of the series follows the same tone it should help our war effort. Which is more than i can say about anything else i see on tv that's war related.

It's all good in opposition

It was only last week when Prime Minister Howard was saying that our laws are not equipped to deal with this suicide bomber terrorist threat, even Labour premier Bob Carr said he wanted the laws strengthened to deal with the threat.

You would think that the federal opposition would be screaming the house down accusing the government of sitting on their hands and doing nothing, I wonder what powers the police should be given then, when confronted with a suicide bomber, sit and meditate perhaps, offer a bunch of posies, run away, ponder the meaning of life.

Opposition Leader Kim Beazley says there is no need to give Australian police shoot to kill powers as part of a counter-terrorism strategy.

Mr Beazley has expressed sympathy for the Brazilian who was shot dead by police in London after being mistaken for a suicide bomber. Mr Beazley said Australia was not experiencing a terrorism threat serious enough to justify giving police such powers.

"You got to make sure that if you're going to do that, that it's appropriate," he told the Nine Network. "This is a genuinely difficult question.

"I don't think it's a necessary regime at this point in time in this country, but I don't blame the British for where they found themselves, though all of us have got to be deeply, deeply sorry for the family and the individual concerned in that illegitimate killing."

No one, apart from the terrorists, wants innocent people killed, but we need to know that our security forces are allowed to kill would-be suicide bombers if necessary.

Meanwhile Kim can continue to ponder if 'its appropriate', IN OPPOSITION.

Ramsey of the bullshit flow Pt 2

And I somehow rather fancy that I’d like to change with Ramsey,
Like to take a turn at writing where the beers come and go,
While he faced the round eternal of the broadsheet and the financial journal -
But I doubt he’d suit the truth, Ramsey, of "The Bullshit Flow".

Alan Ramsey on Sunday 24 July 2005.
'Meanwhile, know that our Prime Minister has another birthday on Tuesday - his 66th. Expect he and Janette will likely spend it, in front of the television cameras, with Australian forces from Iraq flown to Oman for the occasion. You can bet they won't go to Iraq itself.

Much too dangerous.'

Today in Baghdad, Monday 25 July 2005.
'Prime Minister John Howard has arrived in Baghdad for a surprise visit and talks with the new US-backed government.Howard was meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the government press office said. He is also expected to meet with some of the 750 Australian troops in Iraq.'

From Forbes;

On matters of security

In the wake of the terrorist actions in London, two lines of argument have been raised by our elected Government officials. The first is that we should have a national ID card.
The controversial plan was yesterday raised by Queensland Premier Peter Beattie, who suggested a national ID card to prevent unlawful detention similar to that suffered by Cornelia Rau and Vivian Alvarez.

But the Prime Minister revealed cabinet's National Security Committee was already examining whether tougher measures were needed to close "loopholes" in Australia's counter-terrorism effort.

"All of these things will be looked at. I don't say never, ever in relation to things like that," John Howard said in Canberra.
No, no, no. Horrible idea. It's going to be extremely expensive, it isn't going to stop terrorism, and while it might prevent some illegal immigration mistakes, at the huge cost/effort required, while making identity theft even easier, I can't see how the positives outweigh the negatives.

A second idea is more CCTV cameras:
Closed-circuit television surveillance is expected to be boosted as part of tighter security arrangements to combat terrorism.

The Prime Minister, John Howard, was so impressed by the CCTV capacity used to identify four men believed responsible for 56 deaths on London transport that he wants Australian systems enhanced.

"The biggest thing that I have learnt by a country mile out of my visit, particularly to Britain, is the extraordinary value of surveillance cameras," he said in London yesterday.

Unlike the national identity card proposal, CCTV is in a script from which the Government is reading in unison. It was also backed yesterday by the Justice Minister, Chris Ellison, and the Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer, who said CCTV "being in place in so many different locations" had "clearly proved to be very effective".
CCTV is a tricky issue. I'm not overly fussed either way, as long as there are no cameras showing any part of private property without the prior consent of the owner of that property. But what I am interested in are other people's arguments for and against CCTV/ID cards. Leave your thoughts in the comments.

John Pilger, lying again

For those of you fortunate enough to have avoided Pilger's dreary far-leftist drivel in the past, you would have missed classic lies such as these:
[Pilger] claimed that in the first Gulf War, no less than 250,000 Iraqis were killed. He cited the Medical Educational Trust of London as his source. In 2003, the Australian journalist Tony Horwitz checked this out. He did a search of every English-language newspaper since 1990 but could find no mention of this trust or its alleged report—except in articles with the byline John Pilger. Studies by both Johns Hopkins University in the U.S. and the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London put the plausible death toll, of both soldiers and civilians, at between 10,000 and 20,000 dead.
So it's no surprise that his latest effort is, to be blunt, a crock. The following lies are put forward by Pilger:
Blair brought home to this country his and George W Bush's illegal, unprovoked and blood-soaked adventure in the Middle East.
Erm, wrong.
There were no suicide bombers in Iraq until Blair and Bush invaded. What about Palestine? There were no suicide bombers in Palestine until Ariel Sharon, an accredited war criminal sponsored by Bush and Blair, came to power.
Actually, suicide bombings began in 1994 in Israel. Ariel Sharon didn't become Prime Minister until 2001. As for suicide bombings in Iraq, I guess Pilger doesn't count Saddam's funding of suicide bombers.
In the 1991 Gulf "war", American and British forces left more than 200,000 Iraqis dead and injured, and the infrastructure of their country in "an apocalyptic state", according to the United Nations.
Of course, Pilger doesn't mention that 200,000 is the highest of the serious estimates, and this figure is mostly comprised of dead Iraqi soldiers, not civilians.
In 2001, in revenge for the killing of 3,000 people in the twin towers, more than 20,000 Muslims died in the Anglo-American invasion of Afghanistan. This was revealed by Jonathan Steele in the Guardian but never became news, to my knowledge.
That's because other figures like 1,201 from a Los Angeles Times study are more plausible. A popular study that claimed around 4,000 had died was shown to be full of double counting and other huge errors.
More than 100,000 Iraqi men, woman and children have been killed not by suicide bombers, but by the Anglo-American "coalition", says a peer-reviewed study published in the Lancet, and largely ignored.
The UN's study, which had 26.7 times the survey size, gave a far lesser figure. And Pilger shows he hasn't even read the Lancet study, which didn't include deaths in Fallujah, and was only counting additional deaths in the first place. As for it being "largely ignored", it's been in every major newspaper in the world, multiple times over:

IHT, Washington Post, CNN, more CNN, BBC, Slate, CBC, New Scientist, Time Magazine, NZ Herald, The Economist, Washington Times, Bloomberg, Weekly Standard, OC Register, News 24, New York Times, Boston Globe, Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Independent, AM, USA Today, LA Times, The Guardian, Al-Jazeera, The Age, The Scotsman, Sydney Morning Herald... I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the point. Most news outlets covered it; conservative outlets kept covering it, because they were busy debunking it.

John Pilger's reputation for ignoring the facts preceeds him - this sort of "anti-Western-civilisation first, facts shaped to suit" argument is fairly typical for him. However it's a shame his editors don't force him to do any fact checking. For someone purporting to be a journalist, these sins are unforgivable.

Wake up..

Here is part of what Sheikh Khalid Yasin and Sheikh Mohammad Omran let slip on 60 Minutes last night -

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: Our message is to young people, young brothers and sisters — trust is sacred, and how can you put a sacred trust in the hands of a non-Muslim that doesn't understand what that sanctity is about?

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: I like to talk like one of you.

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: There's no such thing as a Muslim having a non-Muslim friend, so a non-Muslim could be your associate but they can't be a friend. They're not your friend because they don't understand your religious principles and they cannot because they don't understand your faith.

The infidel is incompatible.

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: Australians have to wake up and smell the coffee. To what extent do people expect that people assimilate to where it gets to the point where you actually want me to imitate?

Assimilation, look elsewhere, none of that crap here.

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: The verse says (speaks Arabic). Specifically, this means, if you take that word literally, it means literally beat them lightly, like I would my child. Like that or like that.

I must say he is not saying outright that its ok to beat your wife. That's a good thing, but why quote that verse from the Koran.

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: We choose to come to Australia as Australia welcomed us to come. You didn't choose to come to Australia anyhow. And we believe we have more rights than you because we choose Australia to be our country and you didn't. So don't come to me now because you are the majority or you are in the power now to say to me, "Well, this is only my way or the highway". I won't accept that.

Its his way or the way of the Jihad.

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: You destroyed Iraq altogether. You say, "We want to build a democracy." Where is the democracy? No democracy. You condemned 50 killed in Britain, fair enough. But every day, more than 100 killed in Iraq. This is right and this is wrong?

65% plus voted recently, democratic government, trillions of dollars in aid from America to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan after the Saddam and Taliban era, shiites and kurds butchered by Saddam now free, I can see why the Sheikh is so upset, no more sponsorship of suicide bombers in Palestine anymore, no room to take over and implement a taliban style rule, those wretched Americans.

Who is killing those 100 odd everyday in Iraq, those damn buddhists!!

PETER OVERTON: Who is responsible for September 11?

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: I don't want to say USA Government, but I would say some of them, they are responsible for that.

PETER OVERTON: The Government is responsible?

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: Yes. Yes! I believe in that 100 percent. I believe there is — what they call it? A conspiracy against Islam and Muslims.

I thought you didn't want to say it. You forgot to mention the Jews.

PETER OVERTON: I think the average person out there would be amazed that you don't think Osama bin Laden was responsible for September 11.

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: There is a mastermind behind these things and the mastermind 100 percent he is from the US Government.

So why did bin laden admit to it, maybe he is secretly controlling things on capitol hill, but I thought the jews were behind all of it, wait why let the truth get in the way of a good conspiracy theory!!

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: A Muslim needs to distinguish him and herself.

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: If you prefer the name of somebody on your clothes other than the name of the Muslims, if you prefer the clothing of the Kaffers other than the clothing of the Muslims, most of the names that's on most of those clothing is faggots, homosexuals and lesbians. God is very straightforward about this — not we Muslims, not subjective, the Sharia is very clear about it, the punishment for homosexuality, bestiality or anything like that is death. We don't make any excuses about that, it's not our law — it's the Koran.

Take note French, the fruits of appeasement.

SHEIKH KHALID YASIN: The university is a gateway for deviation. You forget your Islamic direction. Now you have become compromised through some kind of intellectuality.

Quick, those terror/hate schools in Pakistan are enrolling now. The Sheikhs may have a point with the universities now, I hear republicans/conservatives are gaining support on campuses in the US, their friends on the left are losing the plot slowly but surely.

SHEIKH MOHAMMAD OMRAN: So what? We agreed to build an Australian nation, a strong nation, a harmony nation, but with so many differences among us, so what?

I can understand the Sheikhs point of view on Iraq, there is no democracy here, no longer free to beat your wife, women are allowed to work and study, can't stone women for baring a toe, can't kill homosexuals, can't kill someone for saying something about the Koran, can't blow up children, CAN vote, what the hell is this world coming to.

There are flights leaving every major city of Australia everyday to all parts of the world, board one of them from anywhere to anywhere except here, leave us in peace.

The Egypt bombings

88 dead, 200 wounded:
An official source at Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital said there were 88 dead and about 200 injured. Egyptian authorities flew many critically injured people to Cairo.

Most of the victims were Egyptians, but the tourism ministry spokeswoman said seven non-Egyptians were dead, including a Czech and an Italian, and 20 were injured.
So Islamic terrorists kill a bunch of Egyptians. Why?
A group calling itself the Al-Qaeda Organisation in the Levant and Egypt said it carried out Saturday's multiple bombings as a "response against the global evil powers which are spilling the blood of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Chechnya."
So they kill some more Muslims, mostly Egyptians. But I just saw the strangest thing. There are no Egyptian troops in Iraq. There are no Egyptian troops in Afghanistan. There are no Egyptian troops in Palestine. There are no Egyptian troops in Chechnya.

So why bomb Egypt? Maybe, just maybe, it's because it has nothing to do with Iraq, as Ed Morrissey explains:
AQ antagonism towards Egypt has nothing to do with Iraq, Palestine, and Chechnya and everything to do with assuming control of the ummah in its entirety. It attacks the US and Britain because we oppose the radical takeover of Southwest Asia by the lunatic Islamofascists. Does that involve Iraq? Certainly; right now it's the hot front in the war on terror, along with Afghanistan. But to claim that these attacks spring from our presence in Iraq exclusively, or even our presence in Arab lands, flies in the face of all evidence. Where are the American troops in Egypt?

The media, especially the British media who keep haranguing Tony Blair about causing the London bombings as a price for liberating Iraq, need to start adding two plus two and quit getting three for an answer. AQ operations point to a long-term strategy of isolating and crippling Middle East governments that (a) oppose radical Wahhabism and (b) operate in a secular manner that maintains ties to the West, especially Israel. That is the scope of the war Islamists have fought for twenty years under different banners -- Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and now al-Qaeda. They want to seize power by force, cast a Taliban-style tyranny over the entirety of Southwest Asia and North Africa (to start), and bring the infidel world to its knees through the control of petroleum.

Why, four years after 9/11, does the media and the Left still fail to grasp this? Could it be because acknowledging this fact requires a stark choice to either fight or surrender, and they would prefer to create a fantasy through sophistry to allow them to simply go AWOL instead?
Indeed.

Monocultural hegemony

Once again, the spectre of political correctness and multiculturalism as social science raises it's ugly, ill-informed head. Australian Democrats continue to suport a policy of refugees remaining separate to the wider community on the basis that they can enhance our cultural and social stadniding by retaining their own customs and traditions here in Australia. The language subtleties of this policy document insinuate the inherent stupidity and ignorance of the Australian white round-eye.

The greatest single area of weakness is in the area of delivery of services. Services to migrants are often controlled by monolingual, monocultural Australians who have no competence in the area of cross cultural communication and who, all too often, exhibit outdated views and absolutely inappropriate prejudices towards sections of their clientele both in Australia and overseas. The ongoing acceptance and promotion by some of a monocultural, Anglo-Celtic culture in Australia, and an antiintellectual mindset which discourages the pursuit of excellence, jeopardises our social unity and and positive evolution of communities. It also jeopardises the future of our international trade and diplomatic relations.
Historically migrants have faced exploitation through industrial and employment malpractices. Particularly in instances where attempts are made to deregulate and depress the labour market and also in times of high employment where they are used as scapegoats.

The implied slur on the delivery of services to migrants is demeaning and not worthy of a modern political party. The insinuation and innuendo that public servants are deliberately antagonistic to those of differing ethnic or cultural backgrounds is not only wrong, it's heading towards being illegal. The Australian Democrats must have research figures backing their assertion that deregulation of the labour marjet has led to refugees and migrants being used as scapegoats. Well, wouldn't they? Why else would you claim that evil businesses run sweat shops packed with underpaid workers who are unable to understand the main language of the country they now reside in.

The Australian Democrats refuse to accept that Australia IS a predominantly WASP demographic, and by claiming that without an influx of migrants were are somehow diminished in an intellectual capacity is a childish mental fop. The Australian culture is different. What it isn't or shouldn't be is a replica of the countries these people are getting away from. Turning parts of capital cities into ethnically mini-clones of their homeland counterparts is social engineering gone horribly wrong. The left is reaping the fruit of a crop sown in the 70's, and it's only now they realise that it will never mature into something worth having.

Scum of the Earth

These are the swine who wanted to detonate nail bombs on London’s tube:

And their nature?

Witnesses at the Oval station said one of the terrorists was standing beside a woman holding a baby when he tried to detonate his bomb.
'Shoot to kill’ works just fine for me.

Get Stuffed!

Who else is listening in vague disbelief to the expressions of ‘horror’ and ‘disturbance’ at news that London police, chasing what they thought was a bomb carrying Jihadi, did the only thing they could possibly do, under the circumstances: remove the man’s ability to detonate himself.

Given these swine are walking weapons, fully prepared to die, there is no negotiation. There is no ‘wounding with intent to apprehend’. There is only one way to deal with someone with a finger on the switch, especially when they’re in a crowded tube station.

The police officers concerned did the only thing they could.

As usual, the Muslim community is ‘alarmed’.

The Muslim Council of Britain said Muslims were concerned about a possible "shoot to kill" policy.

Spokesman Inayat Bunglawala said: "There may well be reasons why the police felt it necessary to unload five shots into the man and shoot him dead, but they need to make those reasons clear."
Turn in the bloody terrorists, then, Inayat! There are those among you who know damned well who they are. They have their photos. The silence signals their complicity. But I’ll tell you what. I’ll make it simple for you. You want to know why they ‘unloaded’ five shots into this guy? Apart from the fact that he was running, and already a suspect, listen to a witness:

Another passenger on the train, Anthony Larkin, told BBC News the man appeared to be wearing a "bomb belt with wires coming out".
Clear enough, Inayat? Or were they supposed to ask him nicely?

Of course, your objections fall on utterly deaf ears when we are faced with the certain knowledge of this:

Around a quarter of British Muslims have some sympathy with the motives of the London bombers, if not their methods, while a third believe Western society is "immoral", a poll said today.
Just go.

Update: the appalling news that this man was not linked to the bombings is now starting to filter through. A tragic state of affairs, and an appalling congruence of events. As saddened as I am by this news, I do not resile from anything in this post. Under the circumstances, I do not believe the police had any choice but to do what they did. An attack was under way. They were trailing a man from a house that was under surveillance, because it was linked to the bombings, a man they believed was potentially carrying a bomb. At the entrance to the tube station, he ran when challenged, straight for a carriage-load of people. The outcome was a given, that is if the police were taking their jobs and their responsibility in any way seriously, which they were.

We are reaping the rewards of decades of insane (or malevolent) political correctness. Decades of encouraging immigrants to feel no loyalty to their newly adopted country, or worse, the country into which their children are born. Even worse still are those of us who have, in fact, taught them to hate this, our culture, and I refer specifically to the PC teaching left, who even now trash us in the schools, teaching their impressionable young charges that the West is responsible for most of the world's ills.

It has to stop. It has to stop now.

Assorted Blog Comments - Reprise

Once again, we're seeing the resolve of the Brits.

Once again, a few comments that seem to sum up the mood:

"This is obviously the wave of reprisals against Muslims that the British council of imams feared and pre-emptively condemned."

"Looks like all three bombs didnt go off, just detonators and nothing more. Plenty of panic, they put the tubes on Code Amber, but this time have not shut the lot down, so we can all get home ok tonight!"

"Lotta good all that ‘caring and sharing’ with the Muslim community leaders did this past week in London; they didn’t pass on a whisper that this was coming. With the police presence and other security officers milling around London, especially the north end, they still put some more bombs together, one of them a NAIL BOMB! The implications of ‘nail bomb’ are humungous! Those bombs are indiscriminate maimers of anyone in the path of the detritus coming from the bomb. Babies blinded or with nails into their brains is nothing! This is an evil, EVIL weapon and if the London Muslims are using it, it’s time to get MEDIEVAL ON THEIR ASSES! Hit them where they hurt! Maybe then they’ll cooperate and give the police word their sons are building bombs in the basement!"

"Well, crap. Now the British imams are going to have to go back and pre-emptively condemn all the repisals against Muslims, actual or imaginary, all over again…"

By the sounds of it, I think there might be some rethinking on the whole 'Muslim reprisal' thing. . .

Are we waking up now!!

Inciting people to commit acts of terror would be punishable by jail under post-London terror laws which Bob Carr wants introduced in Australia. This could include the sale of terror books – such as those uncovered by The Daily Telegraph this week.

In his first public appearance since returning from London, the Premier said he was going through British terror laws "line by line" to determine how they could apply here. He had written to Prime Minister John Howard asking him to consider the new laws which include offences of "indirect incitement to commit terrorism".

Having handed NSW powers over counter terrorism to the Federal Government along with other states, Mr Carr urged Mr Howard to "plug every potential gap" in the laws. "I'd like the Commonwealth to go line by line, clause by clause through [Prime Minister] Tony Blair's legislation and see whether it's relevant here," Mr Carr said. "It has my support if it does that."

"We want to involve the Islamic community in our counter terrorism activities," he said. "We want them to understand what we're about."

The federal government is considering beefing up anti-terror laws and calling in experts from London to teach local authorities how to cope with terrorist attacks. Prime Minister John Howard made the announcements as London plunged into fresh chaos amid news of up to four explosions rocking the capital's bus and train network.

MathewK -

How long has it been September 11th? Were people not getting blown up way before that, aren't children getting blown up in Iraq in the name of Islam, hostages beheaded, bombs in Lebanon, embassies in Africa, Indonesia, Bali, Spain, now twice in London.

A muslim preacher spewing anti western hatred in a Sydney mosque only a few months ago, a bookstore in Sydney selling books on hatred and terrorist methods.

Everytime George Bush or John Howard or Tony Blair speak in public, some fool always wants to know the timetable of troop withdrawal from Iraq, everytime a fundamentalist releases a grainy video or scratches an itch our leaders are asked if a link can be established to the liberation of Iraq. When the koran is carried on anything but a golden platter by an infidel, there is an outcry and our leaders are made to explain.

How many have died so far in the name of Jihad, how many more need to die before we start to examine our laws and start implementing them against this Jihad or Fundamentalist or whatever the hell you want to call them.

When the Daily Telegraph exposed the Sydney bookstore, the authorities protected the bookstore from the press, books promoting hatred of Australia and ways of destroying Australia are being sold there, is this not treasonous. Is it alright to live here and work against Australia.

Why are they still operating, are we so impotent that we cannot even stop someone from living in our midst and actively campaigning against us, it seems we are so drunk on the rights of the individual that we are utterly indifferent to the majority.

On talkback radio you hear the odd person call in to express understanding/support of suicide bombers, alqaeda and anti western sentiment whilst living here. We are told the impressionable muslim youth living in western countries are 'captured' by Al Qaeda. UK Guardian trainee journalist, Dilpazier Aslam says that "Second- and third-generation Muslims are without the don't-rock-the-boat attitude that restricted our forefathers. We're much sassier with our opinions, not caring if the boat rocks or not."

What do we do, hold on to the boat, try and reach out, nag and cajole them back to peace, we are careful not to generalise or offend, we beg the imams to talk to them, hold their hands etc. We allow the hatred to grow and flourish in our societies in the name of freedom and individual liberty, and so we shall reap hatred.

Maybe its time we grab the oars and beat them off the boat.

London - again. . .

It’s screamingly obvious that these elements want to start a war they seem to think they can win.

In terms of the urban nature of it, and the fact that our various Western countries now have large fifth columns at work (of various different colours), I'm not sure how we can combat this (in terms of will) until many, many more people have died.

Fear will eventually turn the tide, but at what appalling cost.

It's a dreadful situation. Entirely predictable, though. I've long believed this has been one of the main thrusts of multi-culturalism. Remove our ability to return the fight by bringing the enemy into our midst (whoever that may happen to be; so far, all bases covered).

While watching the television the other night, I caught our Leftist buddy Mat Henderson (Darp, the Nazi hunter), denouncing an academic for his forthright views regarding the Islamics (among other things). I was immediately reminded of his 'angry teenager' comment, made in an exchange with Mike Jericho some time ago, vis-a-vis the Islamonazis. That comment still rings in my ears. . .

Unless it's wearing a brown shirt, a swastika, and sings German marching ditties, these people will simply never see it coming. They refuse to. Then again, they're precisely the same people who stayed the West's hand when the Nazis set out to take over the world the last time.

History repeats.

Breaking news - London again

More trouble in London, both in the tube and on buses. Nail bombs are reported in at least one tube.

Care to place bets on who is responsible? Must be those damn Buddhists again!

Channel 7 has picked up the Sky News broadcast. As well as the tube and the bus, there have been reports of armed police entering a hospital, presumably in pursuit of the guywith the rucksack.

Update I: Reports are of at least four explosions around London. Also, an arrest has been made outside Downing Street, and police have confirmed and incident at the University College Hospital near Warren St Station.

Update II: There is now talk of links between these attacks and the attacks of two weeks, primarily three tubes and a bus like before, and the north, south, east, west nature of them. I bet there will be another link that these bombers will have in common with the other ones...

Update III: Sky News is talking to a former intelligence officer and she pointed out the glaring ineptitude these attacks were carried out with compared to the others - pretty much in those words. Bwa ha ha ha!

Update IV: Mike over at Anubis has excellent coverage.

Time to go........islam.

Some of you may be aware as it has been circulating around for a few days, but for those who aren’t, here it is.

Chris Byrne over at AnarchAngel has had a fatwa issued against him for exercising his freedom of speech. Go to Team Infidel and check out the videos to see them treating the koran like the vile piece of hate it is. They are great.

The FBI contacted Chris about it and told him they consider the threats genuine given that his personal details and those of family and friends were also mentioned. And if you explore the issue, you will find that the higher ups in his former company were muslims and there are suspicions that those in his company may have been the ones passing on his personal information to these terrorists.

It was issued by a known terrorist group in Europe, yet isn’t it amazing how with the hundreds of millions of these so called “moderates” around, not a single one of them knows who these terrorists are or where they can be found or which mosques they are operating out of.

Bullshit. They know and they fully support the terrorists and won’t do one thing to stop them.

Now let me ask a question. We’ve had crucifixes submersed in urine, statues of the Virgin Mary covered in condoms, synagogues and holocaust memorials defaced with swastikas, bibles burnt etc etc. How many Christians and Jews have called for the death of those responsible?

The answer is, of course, zero.

All this just further shows that islam should be banished from western civilization. It is a savage and primitive cult and should be treated with the same hatred and contempt it treats all those who do not belong to it.

To Chris and the crew, all people who believe in freedom and recognise what a disgusting blemish on western society islam is, and how it threatens every freedom we hold dear, stand with you. Make those pigfuckers die slowly, and should you get the opportunity, tape it and send me a copy.

Cheers mate, and happy hunting.

And to pre-empt you leftist traitors who are going to spew bullshit about concerns that the muslim community have about an extremist coming from
Britain to speak here - Yeah, it sounds good but talk is cheap.

Should I see muslims dragging terrorists out of their mosques and down the street to the police station by ropes around the neck, spitting on them and cursing them all the way for what they have done to their religion, I will gladly proclaim that not all muslims are terrorists and they are making a righteous stand against those who are trying to subvert their religion. But until I see action and not words taken by muslims against terrorists, I will consider them all to be standing shoulder to shoulder with the terrorists.

Take that, metrosexual pussies!

I did mean to comment on this last night but was too busy doing manly things like taking the dogs for a run, further punishing my muscles and cardio vascular system down at the gym, playing video games, and sinking some piss with some mates.

Take a moment to have a read of this:

Big-buying blokes reclaim the trousers
THE bloke is back. Advertisers have been put on notice that spending tens of millions of dollars marketing to the Australian metrosexual is missing the mark.

Advertisers have found that, while five years ago men may have been willing to let women take control of purchasing decisions, blokes are reclaiming lost ground.

From cars to cosmetics, males are demanding advertisers talk to them as men, not as sexually ambiguous metrosexuals more interested in aesthetics and personal grooming.

I'm not sure about that cosmetics thing, but the rest of it is long overdue. These pussy leftists (and let's be honest, it is overwhelmingly cowardly leftist weaklings who bought into that metro shit) are sickening and it is insulting to the rest of us to even have them referred to as men. Perhaps it is some twisted desire by these leftist pussies to fantasise about being gay, and thus metrosexuals are nothing more than wannabe homosexuals and this is their opinion on what gay people are like. So not only are they complete pussies, but they are also insulting towards gays.

There is a pair of lezzo's that often bring their dogs down to the same park I take mine. Both lovely women, both staunchly conservative, and both (ironically) prefer to spend time with real men and join us down the pub for a few rounds while watching the footy, than to spend time with girly metros who are pretending "to be like them" and talk about their feelings or whatever you pussy metrosexual girly-men (good one Arnold!) do - go figure.

Oh and another thing that separates us real men from metrosexual tossers - there is some scrub around the aforementioned park, and later in the evening there are often some unsavoury characters hanging around in that scrub (drunk Abo's and drugged out junkies for the most part). As a real man, I won't let these two ladies walk around by themselves and will happily escort them even if I have already been. You will never find a leftist metro pussy doing something like that - "But I might have to fight to protect you and I've just had my nails done."

But now, advertisers are finally starting to realise that real men are still here and that we are insulted to be grouped with metrosexual wankers.

The article goes on to say:

"I think blokes have always been there. They have just been quiet about it," Australia Scan's David Chalke said. "We just pretended to be metrosexuals.

Speak for yourself David, or should that be Davey? I have never pretended to be a metrosexual pussy and I know a great many guys who haven't. I try to live by the Retrosexual Code (creds to Chief Bastard) and have never pretended to be anything else.

The survey found men preferred pastimes including watching sport, playing computer games, going for a drive or heading to the pub ahead of "touchy feely" activities such as walks, visiting friends and relatives, talking on the phone and shopping.

"I think the metrosexual was a fanciful invention of the media," Mr Chalke said.

Perhaps it started out as an invention of the media, but pussy leftist dipshits ran with it. For those who haven't seen it, I strongly recommend taking a look at the wonderful South Park episode that shows this pussy leftist metrosexual bullshit for exactly what it is.

Anyway, the wannabe-homo leftists have failed to turn all men into pussies, and thus failed in making things easier for their muslim allies to take over.

Tolerance of intolerance

Fatwas forbidding Muslim women from studying at university have been distributed in Sydney's southwestern Muslim heartland, according to the country's highest-profile Islamic leader. Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali said the fatwas condemning aspects of Western society had been brought into Australia from Middle Eastern countries, written in Arabic.

I wonder what else has been brought into Australia, I'm sure that all this hatred didn't just start last month.

Other fatwas, which Sheik Hilali said were unwelcome in modern Western countries such as Australia, included banning male and female Muslims from voting in democratic elections. "They have been given out, sometimes outside mosques like free handouts," he told The Australian this week. Sheik Hilali used the fatwas to highlight his concerns about Islamic fundamentalism in Australia, which he compared this week to a disease.

And what are they planning to do about this 'disease'?

He said he and other clerics needed to continue to work hard to capture the hearts and minds of a small number of young, impressionable Muslims who were moving towards fundamentalism. While he did not consider these young Muslims dangerous or violent, he was concerned that they were being manipulated by a handful of local fundamentalist clerics.

Well, that's just great, we can all sit back and relax now, they are not violent or crazy, don't worry they won't blow anything up like the books tell them to, no worries, we'll all just be shocked and horrified if it happens. Meanwhile the 'moderate' leaders shall hand out lollies and things like that to woo the 'impressionable' back to civilisation.

In Britain, the Government is moving to mobilise moderate Islam in an attempt to stem fundamentalism, stop extremism and prevent any future bombings following London's worst terrorism attack this month that killed more than 50 people, including one Australian.

The problem was there years ago, now they are reaping the price of appeasement.

Sheik Hilali declined to name those who had circulated the fatwas he described or how long ago they were distributed. He said he no longer had copies of the fatwas he had collected in the past.

So how exactly are we to stop these vermin then, can't name them, can't do anything against them, I'll bet we don't even have laws to address this kind of problem, when 'moderate' muslims start giving up these islamists I'll be convinced of their allegiance, till then anyone got some lollies.

The Australian has previously reported on one edict that instructs fundamentalist Muslims on how they should respond to Christmas - including refusing to return seasons greetings to a non-Muslim celebrating the religious occasion.

Oh my, I thought the left's solution to appease the 'other' religions, lest they be offended by the hated Christians, was to replace 'Merry Christmas' with 'Seasons Greetings'. Oh my (warning - billions will be offended by the following) God, I am shocked, appease the radicals and they are still not happy!! What, oh crazy left, should we now say, Good december-gift-sharing-fireworks-thing to the hated Christians, perhaps?

That edict, issued several years ago in Sydney, says Muslims must not greet anyone with the phrase "Merry Christmas" and must not return the season's greetings to anyone who offers them. It also says Muslims must not offer or accept any food or drink linked with the celebration of Christmas; send greeting cards for or import or sell anything related to Christmas.

In the last couple of days I heard that Christian prayers are being removed/banned from a school and the ambulance service graduation ceremonies, as we move on from the London bombings and the Islamists withdraw temporarily to regroup and plan, the Muslim leaders and moderates will offer the tired old lines of shock and condemnation at the atrocities BUT..

We in the west will return to appeasing in the name of 'not offending', we will not crack down on fundamentalism under the guise of multiculturalism, or the civil libertarians will squeal and the politicians will suffer from weak knees.

I don't think we truly understand the problem like the Americans and now, the British do, I hope we don't have to learn the hard way like they did.

False Prophets and Charlatans

Davids Medienkritik has a terrific post today about the shenanigans going on in the German political-media axis. The dissection of how the German politicos are so beholden to the power of the German Leftist media (i.e., by reporting everything about Iraq in a negative light, the Leftist media makes it possible for Chancellor Schroeder to claim that the Iraq War is a disaster; and by reporting that a Merkel government would be preferred by Washington, the Leftist media in essence tries to swing the upcoming elections around the central issue of anti-Americanism) is quite thorough.

Also of much interest is the quotation from predictions by Socialist politicians as noted in Deutsche Welle (and translated into English by David):

Claudia Roth (Greens) predicted that an attack on Iraq would unleash a firestorm in the wider Middle East, implying that the entire region could be thrown into a state of war.

Olaf Scholz, Secretary General of the SPD (Schroeder's Social Democratic Party): The war will "likely result in the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent people."

Heidi Wieczorek-Zeul (SPD), Minister of Development Aid: She expected "hundreds of thousands of innocent people, civilians, children, women" to become war victims, and she expected two to three million refugees. Like Roth, Zeul also said that the Iraq war would "unleash an unimaginable firestorm" in the region.

The former SPD-politician Erhard Eppler expected "the lives of hundreds of thousands, possibly millions (of people) at risk".

Jürgen Trittin (The Greens), Minister for the Environment: "The Ministry of the Environment has several studies, among them UN documents. According to these 40.000 to 200.000 victims of military actions can be expected. (...) We are afraid, that up to 200.000 more people might die from the consequences of a war."

Christian Ströbele, MP (Greens): "Tens of thousands of deaths..."

Wolfgang Thierse, President of the German Parliament (SPD): "I think of the millions of people in Baghdad, who will be victims of bombs and rockets."

Great job from David!

About Time!!!

How long have we been waiting for the bleeding obvious to make its way into a Parliament – somewhere – anywhere? Times are a chang’n, it seems.

MP attacks Muslim leaders

MUSLIM leaders need to do more to weed out potential local extremists and condemn acts of terror, independent MP Russell Savage said yesterday.

"Like many Australians I am becoming increasingly concerned by some Muslim demands in our society, some of their intolerance of our way of life and for their insincerity in condemning violence and terror," he said.

"We've seen them condemn terrorism after Bali, Spain and after September 11 but we've seen no change in the way they deal with the problems within their own community," he said. "I'm sick of being in a parliament where we know what the problems are but are too scared to do anything about it. We must give the moderate Muslim leaders the ability to deal with their extremists."

Good for you, Russell! Terrific! Someone had to say it! Now let’s watch that weak, simpering, lily-livered Lenny look-alike, the Victorian Liberal State opposition leader, show us his true colours – again:

Opposition Leader Robert Doyle condemned the comments.

"We must not judge the entire Muslim community by the acts of a tiny proportion of fanatics," Mr Doyle said.

Who said anyone was, Boobert, you total and utter FOOL of a man! He’s talking about how the community reacts to those fanatics. How it behaves in the light of their existence. The kinds of things it does and says.

That's the usual knee-jerk defence I’d expect from a Lefty, not the leader of a conservative opposition.

"It is unfair to blame the Muslim community for acts committed by extremists and, in fact, many Victorian Muslim community leaders have strongly condemned acts of terrorism."
Who the hell is? But as far as their strong condemnation, goes, how strong? How consistently? And were they speaking Arabic at the time (I'll bet they weren't)?

Nationals leader Peter Ryan said Mr Savage's comments, made while members of the Islamic community were present, were ill timed.
Crap! Whimp! It’s exactly the kind of statement they need to start hearing from our various ‘leaders’, regularly and often. ‘Behave or get out’. And if they feel unwelcome, that really is fine by me. Happy to see them go, in fact.

Premier Steve Bracks could not be contacted for comment, but in his own condolence speech called for tolerance and multiculturalism to continue to flourish.
Well, Bracks is certainly smarter than Doyle, but not by much. The Liberals in Victoria lost by a landslide last time. But I wonder what happens, exactly, when absolutely no one votes for you at all?

Huh?

For what, three years they scream for a hearing, yelling and shrieking that terror boy isn’t getting his day in court. Now he’s finally getting a dose of the fast track?

Hicks defence not ready, says lawyer

ANY US Government push to hold a military tribunal hearing for David Hicks within the next few weeks would be an attempt to undermine the Australian's defence, his American lawyer said today.

"I still have several months of preparation to do to get ready for a commission ... I would not be ready to go to trial to give David a proper defence in several weeks, it would take several months to get ready," Major Mori said on Channel 9.

Mr Mori said the Australian continued to suffer behind bars.

"I saw him several weeks ago, you've got to remember David's been locked up now for three-and-a-half years," he said.
Uh huh? So what’s the defence been doing in all that time?

Sorry. But please, let’s just try this little prick as soon as possible.

More "Moderate" muslims

Well the muslims who run these bookstores must be moderates, or so all the wankers on the Left would have you believe.

A couple of sentences I want to draw your attention to. Firstly:

A spokesman for NSW Attorney-General Bob Debus said there were laws against racial vilification and inciting violence.

"If the literature is found to contain racial vilification then the laws are there to prosecute," he said.

"If any information or literature results in a violent act ... then we have laws to prosecute under incitement to violence."

And then, a little further on in the article:

NSW Police Commissioner Ken Moroney said he found the material "offensive" but could not say whether it could be banned.
Yep. That would be about right. This goes hand in hand with some treasonous sow, featured on Channel 10 News. A convert to islam, there she is, shooting off that stupid mouth of hers about how this sort of material should be allowed as it is freedom of speech (despite there being laws about inciting violence) and suggesting that were we to go over to the local Jewish bookstore, we would find the same sort of Jewish extremist books.

She must mean all the Jewish extremists blowing up buses....nope. That's muslim extremists. Then maybe the Jewish extremists targeting children in schools and lining up to get candy.....nope, muslims again.

Then surely she means all the Jewish extremists stoning women for being raped and cutting the heads of civilians....oh dear.

I am afraid there is only one group of extremists that have literature and sermons about "Death to the infidels" and targeting innocents and taking over the world.

And the scumbags on the Left will defend them to their very end. It has happened with every terrorist attack in the past, it is happening in London, and it will happen in this case here and any future terrorist attacks.

The Left will argue this sort of material should be available - for their terrorist allies. But watch the uproar should there be some of this sort of material targeted at their terrorist allies. Can you imagine the amount of shrieking their would be from the Left if there really were Jewish extremist books like this?

Max Boot: Why We Fight

Max Boot ponders the parallels between the Blitz and the Bombing:

The London bombings have occasioned many comparisons with the 1940 Blitz. This is usually cited as evidence of British fortitude — the attitude exemplified by cockneys in the heavily bombed East End who told Winston Churchill, "We can take it, but give it 'em back." That is indeed the dominant British (and American) attitude, then and now, but it is important not to ignore a streak of timidity there (and here) that may get stronger in the years ahead and that was present even when civilization faced an existential threat from Nazism.

The last sentence segues into a litany of appeasement stances. I imagine that in their day these appeals against involvement in the war were far louder than history has allowed their echoes to be. Take one delicious morsel of an example:

Even in January 1942, when German armies were at the gates of Moscow, George Orwell wrote in Partisan Review that "the greater part of the very young intelligentsia are anti-war … don't believe in any 'defense of democracy,' are inclined to prefer Germany to Britain, and don't feel the horror of Fascism that we who are somewhat older feel."

As if to illustrate Orwell's point, a pacifist poet named D.S. Savage wrote a reply in which he explained why he "would never fight and kill for such a phantasm" as "Britain's 'democracy.' " Savage saw no difference between Britain and its enemies because under the demands of war both were imposing totalitarianism: "Germans call it National Socialism. We call it democracy. The result is the same."

Savage naively wondered, "Who is to say that a British victory will be less disastrous than a German one?" Savage thought the real problem was that Britain had lost "her meaning, her soul," but "the unloading of a billion tons of bombs on Germany won't help this forward an inch." "Personally," he added, with hilarious understatement, "I do not care for Hitler." But he thought the way to resist Hitler was by not resisting him: "Whereas the rest of the nation is content with calling down obloquy on Hitler's head, we regard this as superficial. Hitler requires, not condemnation, but understanding."

Remind you of anything? No wonder they've been in such a frenzy to portray Rove as some sort of criminal mastermind -- with the usual lack of success.

Please cut the bullshit

Please, for the love of God, stop with all this bullshit about everyone being so shocked and surprised that the goat molesters involved in the London bombings were actually born in Britain.

It is not a surprise. It is not a shock. It is not even slightly unexpected. Mainly because the fact they were born in Britain HAS NO FUCKING RELEVANCE to the fact they became suicide bombers.

THEY WERE MUSLIMS FOR FUCK’S SAKE! They were a party to a vile and violent death cult that promotes the killing of innocents to further its cause. And anyone who wishes to join this cult can do so. It has nothing to do with where someone is born. That is why they killed themselves along with a lot of innocent civilians. Not because of where they were born but because of what they believed.

So please, enough with the "Oh we are so shocked" crap. Fuck.

Maxine McKew's fantasy-based la-la-land™

In the comments at The House Of Wheels, reader rational_minded made a comment about an interview with Prime Minister John Howard on the ABC's notoriously leftist 7:30 Report. I found the transcript, and the part that he was referring to is as follows:
MAXINE McKEW: Prime Minister, if as you say you can't rule out that possibility that we could have potential bombers right here in Australia, what if today's announcement, this redeployment to Afghanistan and our continued presence in Iraq is all the provocation they need?

...

MAXINE McKEW: But this must be a factor in your thinking. I mean, you make a decision - or Cabinet made yesterday a decision - to go ahead and put extra troops into Afghanistan. And as compelling a moral and strategic reasons as there are for that decision, there could be some people out there who seek to do us harm, who will see this as just the excuse they need. That must weigh in your decision, so you're saying basically that's a risk we have to take?
Those are two questions that the ABC host McKew asked John Howard regarding the redeployment of troops to Afghanistan. Her basic line of argument is that this could push terrorists who previously didn't want to attack us over some line, and now they will attack us.

Your eyes are not out of focus. And no, I didn't make this up.

Let's take a trip into McKew's fantasy-based la-la-land™, where terrorists have a threshold of tolerance to "Western interference in the Islamic world". Exactly how does this work? It's simple. A terrorist will only attack your country when your country has accumulated a pre-defined number of Evil Infidel Points (EIPs). The EIPs system is as follows:

Be an evil infidel nation: 100 EIPs
Liberate Afghanistan: 50 EIPs
Support that eeeeeevil Bush: 20 EIPs
Liberate Iraq: 80 EIPs
Send 450 more troops to Iraq: 50 EIPs
Send troops back into Afghanistan: 30 EIPs

Now let's just imagine that there are a group of terrorists with a pen and paper somewhere around the world keeping score. They're thinking right about now, "Geez, Hafeez - that infidel nation Australia has accumulated 330 Evil Infidel Points! We only had a threshold of 315 points, meaning that this latest troop deployment leaves us with no options but to turn their streets into blood-drenched warzones! Allah U Akbar! Allah U Akbar!"

For terrorists who have no qualms about killing thousands of people, regardless of their religion, gender, nationality or political standing, they must have one heck of a huge threshold if all of a sudden one more deployment of troops turns them against Australia. Maxine McKew's fantasy-based la-la-land™ may have terrorists like this, but in the real world, they don't exist.

And doesn't everything Howard do in regards to foreign policy supposedly inflame tensions, aggravate peaceful Muslims, and make Australia a terrorist target? We were a target before Iraq, and we're still a target. Whether we're a bigger or smaller target is not only impossible to tell, but it's also fairly meaningless. If we are a target, no matter how small, they will try to kill us. So Maxine and her ilk should stop worrying about regurgitating Greens talking points, and wake up.

Horrible News That Didn't Make The Headlines

If not for Michele's A Small Victory, i might never have heard about this horrible crime, which happened yesterday.
At least 22 schoolchildren have reportedly been shot dead in a brutal raid on a remote village in northeastern Kenya.

A total of 66 were killed in what is believed to be the country's worst-ever single episode of inter-clan violence, a local politician said.

Bonaya Godana, the member of parliament for North Horr district in which the attack took place, said that 56 villagers, most of them young children and their mothers, had been killed in yesterday's raid on Turbi village.

Police said earlier that 10 of the attackers had also been killed.

Mr Godana, a former Kenyan foreign minister who was touring the scene of the brutal attack, said many of the victims had been shot dead while preparing to go to school.

'As of this morning, 56 of our people have been confirmed dead and of them are 22 schoolchildren, and most of them died in their school uniforms,' he said, adding that 10 schoolchildren were among those seriously wounded in the attack.

'The majority of the dead are mothers and their children,' Mr Godana said. 'Three other people are still missing and we suspect that they are dead.'
i don't get it. Do the elites care about Africa or don't they. Why wasn't this the lead on every newscast? Twenty-two schoolkids still wearing their uniforms?

Phil-osophy

Phillip Adams, Australian icon and all round good guy has an annoying habit of being either wrong, incorrect or mistaken on any number of occasions.

Leigh Cartwright at A Western Heart takes Adams to task over his latest column.
'Because as we all know, more than "just a few bombs" explode on a very large minority, or even a majority of the days in Iraq. Ambiguity and vagueness is a tool Adams uses a lot - how many is "just a few bombs"? He won't say, because he doesn't know.'

JF Beck at RWDB has another view on Phillip Adams. Britain had this coming – The Australian.
'Sick fuck.'

Mike Jericho discusses Adams' views.
'Adams has outdone himself. His title of the article he has penned on the London Bombings? Britain Had This Coming. Oh, dear God. The poor lunatic has also just tried to claim that the terrorist's choice of targets are in some way legitimate.'

Attila looks at Adams' column with a critical eye.
'Who would have ever thought that Phillip Adams would jump on the "London deserved to be bombed" bandwagon? Actually, I don't even need to paraphrase his position - the headline of his vile article is "Britain had this coming" Hear that Susan Levy? Phillip Adams thinks you deserved to die. I struggle to express how angry this makes me. That someone could write this filfth at all is pretty disturbing, but to think that it appears in a national broadsheet, and that we pay him to host a weekly radio show, is even worse.'

Arthur Chrenkoff on Phillip Adams.
'OK, so they're victims, but are they innocent victims?'

Paddy of the Observation Deck has a choice few words about the Olive Rancher.
'That disgusting pile of walking filth Phillip Adams has his poisonous say about the London atrocity in today’s Australian. Surprise surprise, ole fat psycho Phil blames it all on the Yanks.'

The level of moral equivalency being displayed by Phil the dill is astonishing. Today's editorial in Adams' own paper goes a long way towards repudiating the rubbish of Phillip Adams.

'THERE is a faux-realist mindset common among intellectual sophisticates in the West that holds the community's moral compass is not true and that only they have the courage and insight to understand the issues of our age. Normally, their eccentric egoism does no harm. But in the aftermath of the London bombings last week, claims that the British Government's involvement in the war to remove Saddam Hussein and continuing presence in Iraq render it responsible for the murder and mutilation of 50 people – with the butcher's bill not complete – are arrant and offensive nonsense. It beggars belief that, fully a dozen years after the first attempt to bring down the World Trade Centre in New York by Islamic extremists, there are still apologists for evil who blame the victims every time terrorists attack.'

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Dangerous diggers deploy to Dirkastan. Duplicitous Dems deride decision

Australian Democrats policy.

"The Australian Democrats are adamant that Parliamentary consent should be needed before Australian troops are sent to overseas conflict. From the beginning, the Australian Democrats urged the Government to stay out of a war with Iraq and focus our military resources on our region, rather than sending Australia’s Special Forces to the other side of the world."

Australian Democrats reality, from October 2001. Former leader Senator Stott-Despoja on ABC 7.30 report.

"KERRY O'BRIEN: Natasha Stott Despoja, on the commitment of Australian troops to joining America's war against terrorism in Afghanistan, I can't find anywhere where you've made clear that you're either for or against the commitment of Australian troops. Do you support or oppose that commitment?

NATASHA STOTT DESPOJA, DEMOCRATS LEADER: The Australian Democrats oppose an open-ended commitment of Australian troops, that is the deployment of defence personnel in a way that is unequivocal, there is no explanation from the Prime Minister or the US as to exactly where those troops will be deployed."

With today's announcement that 150 diggers are back to do a number on the remaining dirkadirka's, the Australian Democrats once again show the the inability to contribute anything sound to Australia's foreign policy.

"Mr Howard said we needed to 'finish the job' in Iraq, but failed to do that in Afghanistan - a country which had far greater links to terrorist threats than Iraq ever had. In 2002, it was clear that the Taliban and al-Qaeda were a resurgent threat in Afghanistan but Australia withdrew in preparation for the invasion of Iraq. Back then, Australia ignored Afghanistan's pleas for assistance in rebuilding, in education and health and in putting to work thousands of poorly educated young men who have known only the law of the gun."

Why haven't the Democrats called for the recall of Parliament to debate this deployment? Why haven't the Democrats called for any action in the SE Asian region? The area to the north of Australia is a hotbed of religious fundamentalism extremists, coupled with a massive drug trade supporting their financial activities. The Dems attack the easy targets, just like the Greens and the ALP. No concrete proposals, just innocuous statements "condemning terrorism" and vacuous waffling about how poverty causes terrorism.

Yet again another reason why the Democrats deserve to be voted out of existence.
