The next leftist pet cause

Apparently 1 in 10 sheep [rams] are homosexual, this might not be news to some, but it certainly is to me, good grief, can you imagine the implications. One of the implications is they are of little use to the farmers who own them, after all two males cannot produce offspring, so the rams are just the meat value, not much else.

SCIENTISTS are conducting experiments to change the sexuality of “gay” sheep in a programme that critics fear could pave the way for breeding out homosexuality in humans. The technique being developed by American researchers adjusts the hormonal balance in the brains of homosexual rams so that they are more inclined to mate with ewes.

Makes sense doesn’t it, well not according to leftists, yes yes I know little that leftists do makes any sense, but this is really crazy, the leftists are demanding rights for the gay sheep. Bloody hell, next thing some lefty will be wandering in here to demand they be allowed to marry, are entitled to free health care and should be allowed to vote, so long as they vote left.

The research, at Oregon State University in the city of Corvallis and at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, has caused an outcry. Martina Navratilova, the lesbian tennis player who won Wimbledon nine times, and scientists and gay rights campaigners in Britain have called for the project to be abandoned.

Navratilova defended the “right” of sheep to be gay. She said: “How can it be that in the year 2006 a major university would host such homophobic and cruel experiments?” She said gay men and lesbians would be “deeply offended” by the social implications of the tests.

Once again leftists are insisting science be abandoned for the sake of their feelings. I sincerely hope the research goes ahead and the farmers can change the sexual preferences of their investments. Don’t believe the leftists when they cry for the sheep’s right to be gay and hold madi gras, they don’t give a sheep’s bum about the sheep. They are concerned that the research will lead to the next logical step, allowing parents to eliminate the chance their children will be gay. I think leftists would be against this because they secretly believe that parents would choose to have heterosexual children if given the choice, but then isn’t that leftist ideology, denying the right to choose.

If leftists were opposed to abortion and sending the disabled to a “better place”, I’d be more inclined to listen to their whining. Besides we aren’t talking about hanging homosexuals or taking them out the back and shooting the lot of them, nothing drastic like that. In these times of falling birth rates [in western societies who welcome homosexuals], we need every birth we can get, the other side with the soaring birth rates prefers welcoming with ropes and cranes. So this really is for your own good leftists and isn’t that what you usually tell us when implementing on of your pie-in-the-sky ideas without our approval.
