The islamists are winning the war that matters.

The war that matters is the war for control of our information flow here in the West.

Islamic fears kill off children's thriller
By Murray Waldren and Jodie MinusNovember 25, 2006 12:00am

A LEADING children's publisher has dumped a novel because of political sensitivity over Islamic issues.Scholastic Australia pulled the plug on the Army of the Pure after booksellers and librarians said they would not stock the adventure thriller for younger readers because the "baddie" was a Muslim terrorist.
A prominent literary agent has slammed the move as "gutless", while the book's author, award-winning novelist John Dale, said the decision was "disturbing because it's the book's content they are censoring"."There are no guns, no bad language, no sex, no drugs, no violence that is seen or on the page," Dale said, but because two characters are Arabic-speaking and the plot involves a mujaheddin extremist group, Scholastic's decision is based "100 per cent (on) the Muslim issue".

This decision is at odds with the recent publication of Richard Flanagan's bestselling The Unknown Terrorist and Andrew McGahan's Underground in which terrorists are portrayed as victims driven to extreme acts by the failings of the West. The Unknown Terrorist is dedicated to David Hicks and describes Jesus Christ as "history's first ... suicide bomber".

PC culture, a lying leftist mainstream media, the cowardly and traitorous left, the millions of dollars poured into madrassas and islamic "information programs" by the Saudis, rioting and bloodshed over the mohammed cartoons.....
Bookstores which stock leftist propaganda by Chomsky, Pilger and their ilk, yet are mysteriously "out of display space" or "out of stock" whenever one enquires after books by Steyn or Hanson...
Add it up.
Factor in the unpleasant truth that most people get their "news" from 30 minutes of television per day (and that half-hour contains little more than 30 second bites of leftist propaganda) and have no idea of just how uninformed they are about the world.
Again and again when arguing with people I've been struck by just how little they know about what's going on. Sure, they can recycle lefty talking points, but it's headlines without the article, platitudes from an empty head. They haven't analysed their position because they don't have either the equipment or the information necessary for rational analysis.Having bought their propaganda wholesale they can only support it with more propaganda.

This is the herd that islamists are concerned with, because it's easily manipulated. Easily fooled. Especially with the connivance of the media and every cowardly, ignorant leftist.
This is the war that matters.
