Toothless Tiger

Everytime some faraway court or organisation has tried to punish the US over the treatment of some piece of crap, the US has always told them to take a hike, but they keep trying.
The US is due to appear before the UN Committee on Torture for the first time since launching its war on terror following the 9/11 attacks.

Thirty senior officials from the departments of state, defence, justice and homeland security will testify in public at the hearing in Geneva.

They are likely to face tough questions about practices used in the anti-terror drive, correspondents say.
After they are finished with the 'mean' US officials, the UN committee will be moving onto the nervous sweating officials, from North Korea, Cuba, Burma, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Iran, Russia and China, not necessarily in that order. Yeah, right after hell freezes over.
