Common Sense

Would dictate that the Immigration authorities would be out in force rounding up these obvious illegals and booting them into trucks for shipment to the border. It is the perfect opportunity, round em all up, anyone who cannot prove his or her US citizenship gets dropped off across the border, best of luck and smell ya later.

If I went over to the United States for a holiday and decided to stick around, start working and living off the country and then start protesting and whining about 'my home', universe and world citizens, I can see myself on the first plane back home with a size 12 boot print on my ass.

However, these are more 'enlightened' times, instead of punishing law breakers we allow them to intimidate, 'flex' their muscles, gather in their numbers, close roads off and give them free reign, free speech and all that. It is a new age folks, no right and wrong, break the law? Well that depends on your perspective, some have more rights than others, anything goes folks.
Tens of thousands of undocumented workers and their supporters demonstrated today across the Los Angeles area as they flexed their political and economic muscles in support of an overhaul of national immigration policy.

More than 100,000 people marched through downtown Los Angeles to congregate around City Hall, the third major demonstration to rock the city in less than two months. Festive, even jubilant, demonstrators paraded to the Latin rhythms.
In their defence, they aren't costing the public any taxes, since they probably don't pay tax anyway, offcourse they are costing law-abiding Americans billions of dollars, but hey lets not get bogged down by numbers and inconvenient facts. It would appear the illegals have gotten a bit smarter after the last protesting fiasco, they are now waving the American flag and whining about rights, as opposed to the Mexican flag and whining about rights in America. Judging by the anger of many 'actual' Americans they may have realised Americans are not that 'enlightened'.
