Representing the workers.

yeah, riight...how bloody typical. The days of corrupt union power are back:
"ONE of the country's most powerful unions used an employer-funded "training fund" to pay for a $100,000 conference where Labor ministers lobbied members to vote for the ALP.

The Transport Workers Union event, held at Rosehill Racecourse in the lead-up to last year's federal election, cost almost $70,000 in food and venue hire and thousands more was spent on accommodation for delegates who travelled to Sydney for the event.
........Accounting firm Deloitte's has since found the training fund was effectively a second bank account for the union - and was also used to pay for things such as TWU caps and coffee mugs."
