Shame On (Some) Western Media

By AR - Percieved negative commentary on the situation in Tibet has brought over 1000 members of the Australian-Chinese community to Sydney's streets.
One of the organisers, Kang Xu, says the international media must stop exaggerating what is happening in Tibet. "All we want to show is a different angle on Tibet and different opinion. We are volunteers here, it is not organised," he said.
ABC News had vision of the march. A couple of the protesters carried signs bearing the message, "Shame On Some Western Media".

Love that qualification, "some". Those were the politest protest banners I've ever seen. Obviously the protesters didn't want to go all judgemental with, "Shame On All Western Media". And at an early organising meeting they rejected outright, "Behead Those Who Misreport On Tibet". Just kidding.

Their actions today echo comments posted by an A Western Heart reader the other day - namely that Tibet is being used to push anti-China sentiment.
