Enough With The Advice, OK?

By AR - Chief Minister of the ACT, Jon Stanhope nominated Terry Hicks for Father Of The Year in 2006. He reasoned Hicks deserved nomination for the, "enduring and unconditional love and the grace that Terry Hicks has shown in supporting his son." Important to note was that Stanhope didn't nominate Hicks for the unerring good advice he has provided his son, the confessed terrorism supporter, David Hicks.

Amid warnings from some MPs that Australians will "be sickened" by David Hicks profiting from selling his story to the media, Terry Hicks offers this advice: "This is only my view on what I would look at doing - go ahead and do it and see what happens." I imagine high-powered reasoning like that is how Hicks ended up spending 5 years in Gitmo.
