Re...Please explain how Obama is destroying America? Record high stock markets, unemployment cut to around 5%, deficit cut to two thirds it was when Bush left office, millions have health insurance. He has brought the economy back from a near disastrous recession. A recession handed to him by an inept bunch of war mongering criminals.
What freedoms have been lost under Obama? How is he a traitor?
The Republicans are the ones hurting America. Ted Cruz wants yet another shut down costing the tax payer billions like last time; all over a discredited, heavily edited and false video. Heaven forbid that Trump should get anywhere near the oval office- the mans a buffoon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9487055.post-20784933808291549032015-09-28T13:08:10.295+10:002015-09-28T13:08:10.295+10:00I like that article; it suggests hope.
Re. "...I like that article; it suggests hope.

Re. "Like Nero, Obama has been destructive but American political forms and expectations have been preserved. The system that is America still exists much as it always has done. There is a strength in America in the form of the customary systems of law and governmment that continue to exist. And those systems rest on nothing so fragile as laws. They exists in the expectations that Americans hold about how things should be done. Those expectations have given prosperity and substantial freedom to Americans in the past and will continue to do so. America can withstand its traitor president -- JR."

I think so too. As I see it, society is an apparition that arises from a collection of individuals, like an overall blur and hue that we see when we view a collection of distant indiscernible details and colours. Government is the solidification of the apparition of society, a focal point where peer pressure, collective attitudes and preferences solidify into legislation and material force, and come back as a form of consequence upon the collective of individuals. That society is the product of individuals, and government the product of society, offers the best guarantee of America's survival. Alter the demographics too much though, as may be happening in Europe with the Islamic invasion, and society and government must change.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
