Greens whining about drug sniffer dogs - Update Added

You'd think the Greens would be handing out anti-drug stickers to the concert goers, wouldn't you, but thats not the anti-human, crackhead, loony left. Instead they want to help the young rascals avoid getting caught, in light of these whiners, I say send more dogs then.
LiveNews - Police sniffer dogs should be banned from today's Homebake music festival in Sydney according to the Greens. The party will be handing "sniff off" stickers to the young concert goers and offering them information about their rights. Greens MP Lee Rhiannon says police should concentrate on catching major drug lords, not worry about low-level drug dealing. “These operations today aren’t making our community safer. They send a bad message to young people,” she said. “Now we know there’s studies that show often young people end up taking their drugs before they leave home to avoid being caught by the sniffer dogs.”
No moron, it's not a bad message, if you don't send the dogs there, that'll send the message that you can take drugs there. And if you think that the children will take drugs at home because of this, wrong answer again moron. If you want to curb drug use you don't give them another place to use them, alternatively you could send the dogs around to their homes and arrest the parents as well, while junior is getting his rights read out to him. Oh and Commissioner Scipione, you might want to send a couple of your finest with some sniffer dogs around to Lee Rhiannon's house, poke around a bit, see what's growing in the back garden and if it's only water in the eco-friendly toilet flush.

Update - Looks like there was good reason to send the sniffer dogs in, despite the whining from the mad greens, SMH - But police said they had made at least 29 mostly drug-related arrests and issued court notices to 40 people for possession of drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis and LSD. Two people had been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, police said.
