This might come as a tremendous shock to liberals, but Christians have been proselytizing for a couple of centuries now, I may be wrong on this, but I believe this is because we think it would be better for the world if we all turn to Christ. We're certainly not doing it because we think our faith is a sham or your faith (or lack there of) is much better. I mean come on people, when you convert from Islam or Satanism or whatever, you're not supposed to have a bet each way, you gotta believe in one and let the other go.
Slash-and-burn columnist Ann Coulter shocked a cable TV talk-show audience Monday when she declared that Jews need to be "perfected" by becoming Christians, and that America would be better off if everyone were Christian. Coulter made the remarkable statements during an often heated appearance to promote her new book on advertising guru Donny Deutsch's CNBC show "The Big Idea." In response to a question from Deutsch asking Coulter if "it would be better if we were all Christian," the controversial columnist responded: "Yes."If all religions were equal, what's the point, I'll put it another way that liberals might understand, Liberals want more people to join their cause as opposed to the Conservative cause, right? So are they saying that Conservatism is exactly the same as Liberalism and not inferior? Are they saying, don't throw away your Conservatives beliefs because they are just as valid as ours? I didn't think so. Besides, don't liberals believe that the world would be better off without religion and God, particularly the Christian religion? After all they're constantly trying to undermine it in every way possible.
"We should all be Christian?" Deutsch repeated. "Yes," Coulter responded, asking Deutsch, who is Jewish, if he would like to "come to church with me." Deutsch, pressing Coulter further, asked, "We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians?" She responded: "Yeah." FOXNews. Hat tip Sweetness & Light.
