Wonder if Obama has his excuses lined up now.

President Pervez Musharraf had agreed to resign from his position as army chief in a power-sharing deal with former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, the exiled former leader said in an interview published today. Speaking from London, where she lives, Ms Bhutto told The Daily Telegraph that while the deal was not yet complete, the "uniform issue is resolved". "The uniform issue is key and there has been a lot of movement on it in the recent round of talks." In a separate interview with the Financial Times also published today, fellow exiled former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that he planned to return to Pakistan within a fortnight to lead a campaign to oust General Musharraf. MK - A lot of questions are popping into my head over this, will the extremists get a slice of the action from now on, what will the next leaders policy be on the Taliban weaseling around in Pakistan. Their attitude to America and the war on terror. I'm sure the Indians are chattering away about this too, nukes in the wrong hands and all that.
