Three Years for Speaking

Interesting times.

BRITISH historian David Irving admitted in an Austrian court overnight to having denied the Holocaust in 1989 but said he no longer holds that view.
For the record, I never agreed with David Irving. I thought his analysis of the ‘evidence’ ignored the most basic and glaring evidence right before his eyes (and that's ignoring the eyewitnesses): the sheer number of camps dotted around Europe by the end of WW II.

But three years in prison? For statements he made 17 years ago?

Just as I didn’t agree with Irving, I do not agree with this.
