It's on for young and criminal in Sydney

SMH - Two teenagers were taken to hospital after a group of brawling teenagers descended on a railway station car park in Sydney's west last night. Police said this morning it was believed that up to 180 male youths, aged between 14 and 18, from the Penrith and Mt Druitt areas, arrived at the Kingswood railway station car park and began fighting each other about 8.30pm. They have since scaled down their estimate to between 40 and 90 youths and are examining CCTV footage in the hope it will help identify potential suspects.

LiveNews - A man has been arrested in broad daylight at a city cafe, following the seizure of a cache of weapons including an AK-47 and a "tommy gun" at Kogarah in Sydney's south. ......They allegedly found a Thompson sub-machine gun, handguns, military assault rifles, bullet-proof vests, ballistic helmets, a ramming device, along with a number of police uniforms and a police badge.

LiveNews - Bandits armed with knives have robbed and slashed two taxi drivers across the face within an hour in Sydney. ......In the first attack at about 2am (AEST) on Friday at Girraween, in Sydney's west, a 28-year-old driver was slashed across the face, leaving him with gashes on the bridge of his nose, right eyelid and right temple. ......The driver was made to hand over his cash and a mobile phone before he was slashed across the face. ......About an hour later, a 29-year-old taxi driver was robbed by the same two men who also slashed him across the face with a knife in Church Street, West Pennant Hills, in Sydney's northwest.

Scum rule the streets and not a single law-abiding person is allowed to carry anything to protect themselves. Apparently they are much safer this way. Go figure.
