Socialized medicine folks

Daily Mail - A grandmother performed her own tooth extractions in despair after being turned away by 12 dentists. Elizabeth Green, 76, was in agony with two front teeth and after a fruitless search for an NHS practitioner, resorted to DIY. Mrs Green, a former chef, said it was made plain to her that if she could pay for treatment she would have been welcomed. "I feel so angry," she said. "I've worked all my life and paid taxes and then when I need help I can't get it." Last year, a great grandmother from Scarborough told how she pulled a tooth with a pair of pliers from her husband's toolbox after drinking beer as an anaesthetic. Valerie Holsworth, 67, has repeated the operation six times now. In October, a survey of patients and dentists exposed a case in Lancashire in which a man had to "remove 14 teeth using pliers".
That's the reality of it folks, like her, you can work all your life, never go to a hospital, pay all your taxes and then one day when you turn up at the hospital to get yourself patched up, you'll be treated just like the piece of crap crackhead who is a regular at the hospital. And if there's some waiting list, which there usually is, just get your sorry ass to the end of the line and pull out the gameboy or the crosswords. If the aforementioned crackhead got there before you and there are only so many beds, guess who's waiting. If the care happens to be substandard or wanting, well that's really sad and all that, just suck it all up. Even if you choose to go elsewhere like the Canadians who travel to America when their glorious system lets them down, you still need to cough up your taxes, don't be late or else.
