A nation at war?

Picture this, days after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, while Americans are shocked at the attacks by the Japanese, they hear news that Japanese living in America have held memorial services or whatever for the Japanese who were killed on that day. They are also publicly flying the Japanese flag on American soil and calling for more attacks on the United States. Back in the day they'd be lucky to be put on a raft with boot prints all over their asses and shoved out into the pacific and an oar thrown out to them. That was then.
JPost - The family of the terrorist who shot dead eight students at the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva in Jerusalem on Thursday "has the right to [publicly] mourn him just like Baruch Goldstein's family," a senior aide to Public Security Minister Avi Dichter told The Jerusalem Post on Saturday night. This terrorist killed youths because they were Jews. They're allowed to put up a mourning tent; it's not illegal to mourn him," the aide said, referring to the tent of mourning erected Friday morning at the home of Ala Abu Dhaim, the 25-year-old gunman from Jebl Mukaber.

The comments came after the police and public security minister came under fire from Likud MK Gilad Erdan and opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu for allowing the mourning tent to remain pitched in east Jerusalem over the weekend, complete with Hamas and Hizbullah flags. Speaking on Channel 2, Netanyahu said: "You've got Islamic Jihad and Hamas flags flying in the heart of Jerusalem. You've got a tent of mourning for the terrorist. This has to be stopped. That tent should be taken down today, yesterday."

Earlier Saturday, Jordanian authorities prevented relatives of the terrorist from erecting a mourning tent in Amman. Despite the response by the Jordanians, Dichter's aide said, there are no laws in Israel preventing the mourning of a terrorist. It is, however, illegal to put up Hamas and Hizbullah flags in Israel, he continued, adding that "the flags have been removed by police."
Then change the bloody laws you fool, it is beyond belief that a nation at war has to tolerate this. That the nations leaders are too stupid to see, well the stupidity, of this. Hamas and Hizbullah are organizations that attacked Israel and continue to do so, rockets, homicide bombs, bullets, whatever they can. If given half the chance they will kill as many Jews as they possibly can. When the family of a terrorist, who just murdered 8 innocent Israelis and was hoping for a lot more, has the audacity to put up the flags of Israel's sworn enemies, there is simply no question of their loyalty. Can anyone fly the Israeli flag over in Gaza or Iran or Egypt, if they're looking for a creative way to get killed I suppose. Israel is a nation at war whether some of them accept it or not, so they'd better start acting like it. Anything but deporting the lot of this family will rightly be seen as weakness and deserving of contempt. Israel is in a jungle surrounded by enemies, there is simply no mercy for the weak.
