First you have to make it

Families struggling with autistic children have been thrown a lifeline with the announcement of a $190 million federal government package. Prime Minister John Howard visited a playgroup on the Gold Coast to unveil the government's five-year package for parents and carers of children with the life-long mental disorder. Mr Howard said part of the motivation for the package came from talks with Judy Fischer, the wife of former deputy prime minister Tim Fischer, whose teenage son has autism.

The prime minister also hinted the package could be expanded in the future. Under the plan, the government will provide new Medicare-funded services to diagnose autism and provide specific follow-up services and early intervention services for about 15,000 families of children aged up to six. Up to 200 new autism-specific playgroups would be created and 1,200 of the most severely affected children would be eligible for up to $20,000 over two years to cover support services. Mrs Fischer told ABC radio the announcement would be well-received. Yahoo News.

Just remember all this when you vote folks and don't take all this for granted, I'm sure the opposition can also roll out big spending policies, but just remember you can't spend a single dollar until you've made that dollar. Remember who was leading this country for the last couple of years and know it was under their management that these dollars were made so that we can now spend on whatever we want.
