This is what we call justice

Two men involved in the killing of a Sydney publican with a bar stool during a brawl may spend as little as three years behind bars, while another two have been jailed for a minimum five years. 47-year-old Shane Miles died two days after being hit over the head with a barstool during a brawl at his pub, the Bells Hotel at Woolloomooloo is December, 2004. Joseph Leota , Etuate Taiseni, Amaniasi Tuifua and Taniela Motuapuaka were to stand trial for murder but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter as it was deemed there was no intention to kill Mr Miles. LiveNews.

Yeah no intention to kill alright, I suppose if there was an intention to kill they would have got 10 years maybe, life is cheap here in Australia folks, real cheap, unless you're some pile of excrement that is. Just yesterday our Premier Morris Iemma was bleating that he'll increase the maximum sentence for rock-throwing to 14 years, balls Morris, increase it to 100 years if you want, the weak-as-water justice system will never hand it out. We can't even get them to grow a wretched spine and give killers a decent stint behind bars and here you come waffling about 14 years. *SPIT*

Update - See, America knows how to deal with scumbags, A confessed rapist was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison, days after he voluntarily underwent castration as part of a plea deal to avoid a life sentence. FOXNews.

  1. I know that this is a very old post. I once knew Etuatu Taiseni (he goes by the name of Eddy). He was a Kings Cross drug dealer, up until this arrest. He was VERY violent.
