Pray for them folks

These are our men, we might be Australians and they Americans, but they are just the same to us, they are our men, they are all that stands between us and the barbaric evil that I hope will never arrive on our shores.
US spokesman Major General William Caldwell said a team of seven American soldiers and an Iraqi army interpreter was attacked 20km west of Mahmudiyah at around 4:44am (0044 GMT). “As a result of this attack, five soldiers were killed in action and three are currently missing,” he said, without specifying whether the dead were all US soldiers or whether the Iraqi interpreter was among those killed. “Make no mistake: We will never stop looking for our soldiers until their status is definitively determined, and we continue to pray for their safe return,” he added, as helicopters and jets were scrambled to join the hunt.
I felt sick when I heard this, dear Lord, let the insurgents screw something up, take the wrong turn, someone see something and tell someone, let us get lucky, any damn thing, just bring them home.

Pray for them, their families and also the five dead and their families.
