Somebody help Mr. Beazley

… pull out all those knives stuck in his back … cos he sure didn’t stick them in there. Does anybody remember in the last federal election Labor ran an ad showing a coin scratching John Howard’s face and Peter Costello’s face underneath? Good heavens, look at what these jokers are doing, who the hell knows who will be leading them next month, let alone at the next election.
Mr Rudd scored an emphatic victory to become the newest Labor leader this morning, winning the ballot for the leadership with 49 votes to Kim Beazley’s 39.

Julia Gillard won the deputy leadership after Jenny Macklin did not contest the position. There were no other candidates.
I hope Rudd and Gillard are thinking of investing in some high-quality body armor, forget John Howard, it’s their own team they have to watch out for.

This afternoon I listened to Julia Gillard on the radio, damn she sounded so boring, the same lame leftist one-liners, one thing I noted was she said the electorate was tired of 12 years of the arrogant Howard government, 12 years of doing what he pleased.

Let me give examples of such arrogance that stuck in my mind, in the last few weeks some of us would recall Tony Abbott came under a lot of criticism for not funding a vaccine for cervical cancer and the callers to talkback radio were not pleased. It wasn’t a red-hot issue, but it went on for about a day or two and next thing the PM comes out and says it will be funded. The same thing happened with the snowy hydro sell-off scheme, scrapped again due to the public outcry, Howard changed his mind while NSW State Labor was all for it.

Against this arrogance, NSW residents will know very well that trying to get the State Labor Government to listen to them is like repeatedly walking into a brick wall, hoping it will break, so keep going ‘Dream Team’, I know I prefer Howard’s arrogance to your indifference.
