Who needs enemies

With friends like this.
A group of 36 governing and opposition party lawmakers on Thursday called on Israel to stop its attacks on Lebanon. Israel's attack on Lebanon will not resolve the problems, but will only lead to a vicious cycle of retaliation, they said in a statement.
Definitely, never fight back, I hear it’s going really well for you guys, so how many decades has it been since the cousins from the North were allowed to visit. Well I guess it doesn’t really affect you guys ey, its just the cousins in the north scraping around in the bins looking for food. Since no one knows/cares about it, its not really a problem is it.
The lawmakers denounced Israel, claiming Hezbollah's purpose in kidnapping Israeli soldiers, which sparked a series of indiscriminate attacks on Lebanon, was the release of some 8,000 Arabs being held in Israeli prisons, including some 400 children.
I think its safe to expect the French and now, the Koreans to send their forces to the buffer zone to enforce arrange the peace, as I’m sure the Israelis will be watching closely, notepads ready as the multinational forces demonstrate to us 'boneheads' how it should be done.
They urged the South Korean government to take part in international mediation efforts together with the United Nations to produce a peaceful resolution to the crisis. They also criticized the role of the United States in the Middle Eastern crisis.

``The United States needs to retract its position of opposing a cease-fire and stop its support of Israel's attack on Lebanon,'' the statement said.

Israel has continued its attack on Lebanon for three consecutive weeks. It commenced attacks after Hezbollah kidnapped two of its soldiers, demanding their release, and thereafter expanded its attack to key Hezbollah strongholds through a large-scale military offensive.

Nearly 750 Lebanese have died in Israel's attack, and more than 3,000 injured, according to reports. The majority of the dead are civilians, and over 800,000 Lebanese have been displaced from their homes.
I was criticising the BBC earlier, for biased reporting, but I’ll admit they are miles better than this lot. Bloody hell, whoever wrote this article must have emerged from hibernation in a cave and read the Hizbullah daily and reported straight off that.

Not a single word of rockets, no Israelis killed, no Kasam rockets, nothing about Hamas, just wicked wicked Jews razing the Lebanese while they cower in the basement.

Which makes the next article all the more pertinent.
U.S. aircraft maker Boeing has been selected as the sole candidate for the country's $2-billion surveillance aircraft deal, beating Elta of Israel in the year-long competition.

``The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has selected Boeing's B-737 model as the only bidder equipped to meet the requirements for the early warning aircraft project,'' Lee Yong-chul, deputy chief of DAPA, said in a briefing after a meeting of the agency's supreme decision-making committee at the Defense Ministry in Seoul.

The purchase of the planes is a key part in the government's defense reform program focusing on the buildup of high-tech weapons systems toward achieving a ``self-reliant'' defense posture.

Under the early warning aircraft project, codenamed ``E-X,'' the Air Force plans to deploy four surveillance aircraft by 2012 in stages. South Korea has no air surveillance system of its own and relies on U.S. reconnaissance aircraft based in Okinawa, Japan.
Couldn’t come any sooner, that’ll be 2 billion US thanks, good luck, all the best, sorry no refunds, its been fun, don’t be a stranger, don’t call us, we’ll call you.

Now just remember the next time Uncle Kim goes off his rocker, don’t antagonise him. Just wear the odd no-dong/taepodong, it’s not that bad, because you know peace-now, retaliation, war is for boneheads, setting examples, violence begets violence, all that.
