Crocodile tears shed for Orbach

Jerry Orbach is dead, and I couldn't care less.

I used to quite like Law & Order.

Then, more and more over time, it became just another liberal platform for its activist producer.

Don't believe me? Watch the show. Any old show, it doesn't matter. They're all the same tired, leftist, morally-superior pap. Each and every episode is inevitably led in this direction by one of the show's main characters; ADA Jack McCoy, whose completely unfathomable zeal in going after police officers instead of criminals somewhat leads one to wonder how long he would be able to retain a position as a prosecutor.

As for Orbach, the man was completely redundant. Lurching through each and every episode like a corpse pumped full of caffiene, he was completely out of place. A NYC police detective, who looked like someone who amusement park attendants wouldn't allow onto the especially frightening rides.

On top of this, Orbach, possessing little or no professional integrity, allowed himself to be repeatedly used as a liberal mouthpiece:
One of the wisecracking detectives on Law & Order, played by Jesse Martin, referred to the President as the "dude that lied to us". The character went on to say: "I don't see any weapons of mass destruction, do you?" His cantankerous partner, played by Jerry Orbach, retorted that Saddam Hussein did have such weapons because Bush's "daddy" sold them to someone "who used to live in Baghdad".

Don't get me started on his really realistic partner, who dresses for work in multi-thousand-dollar suits every day.

As far as I'm concerned, people like Orbach have done their world a disservice. They have cynically made use of their professional - ostensibly non-political - platforms in order to sell an ongoing sniggering political slander against Republicans, and the moral agenda that have continually sought to bring to America.

Goodbye Jerry, you stupid old fucker.
